Checkered flag In their Second year of car racing the Cockill brothers pick up more silverware in their classes in the Ford Fiesta Championship.

Harry finishes 2nd in the Ford Fiesta Class C Championship with Edward finishing in 3rd one point behind. They also went on to win the prestigous Britcar Production Car Trophy.

Harry extends the championship lead with another win and another fastest lap. Harry had to drive this race solo as Edward was unable to take part in the meeting. He went on to completly dominate the race putting it on pole after qualifying, leading the whole race from start to finish and setting the fastest lap. The boys are hoping they can carry on this dominance on to the next round at Snetterton on the 12th May. Watch this space for more news.

Winning is a reality with HE Racing

In 2007 HE Racing was formed, with over 57 years of racing experience between father Symon and sons Edward and Harry Cockill.

Symon started racing in gearbox karts. He has raced many formulas since those distant days and has been around motorsport ever since. He finally hung up his crash helmet in 2000 to concentrate on his sons Edward and Harry’s kart racing careers. Further details of their careers can be found on the About Us page.

Since those early days HE Racing has become a well respected team in karting and has won many national championships which culminated in Harry winning the coverted Rotax British Championship in 2009, with Edward as his mechanic.

So with nothing more to win or prove in the karting world, it was decided to move to cars for 2010 and the Ford Fiesta Championship.

As Edward didn’t race in 2009 he also made the decision to return to the track and so far their success has continued both taking class wins in their first season.
