Symon and his son Edward Cockill have over 30 years karting experience between them, both by racing and looking after drivers themselves. With this invaluable experience gained, they have decided to set up a racing team aimed at giving a high quality and professional service, but also keeping the costs down.
Symon started racing in 1978 in 125cc gearbox and ever since then has been racing, and looking after his sons Edward and Harry. Symon himself won many races in Gearbox, Prokart and 125 Rotax Max. He decided to call it a day in 2000 to concentrate on Edward and Harry where he brought them to many successes in their careers.
Edward has been racing since 1998, but has recently stopped racing to concentrate on running the day to day operations of the team. But through his racing career he has won numerous championships and racing events. Ever since he was 14 he has been working with drivers mechanicing and tutoring them to many wins.
With Symon and Edward's experience they are running a team aimed at doing a high quality and professional job, but not at wallet breaking prices. Our aim is to enhance and promote drivers throughout Karting. Our team policy is to improve drivers from whatever level of performance they are at. The team aims to assist and improve its drivers in terms of driving standards, race-craft, engine set-up and chassis set-up.
Running from a purpose built workshop in Uckfield, East Sussex Edward runs the day to day operations of the team. Catering for all the karts needs from kart preparation to carb sonic cleaning.
At the race track the team runs from a purpose built karting van which has everything required to do any job on a kart. With a fixed awning which comes off the side of the van they provide and clean professional working environment.
