Rounds 12-13 Lydden Hill

With such a good result at Snetterton the boys were all geared up for this weekend. They Tested the weekend before both lapping at lap record pace. With limited time allowed on track they went straight out for qualifying with straight away Edward jumping into to second choosing to only do four laps to try and safe his tyres for racing. Harry didn't quite get it hooked up ending up sixth.

Race 1 was a very much mixed up race, as it rained not long before the race. Both HE Racing boys opting for full wets. Edward got off to a storming start getting into the lead by the first corner and pulling a substantle lead. Harry meanwhile got himself into third where he was battling with Matthew Parr for most of the race. Half way through the race the track started to dry. There was a few people who opted for slicks on the front which started to come into there own. With Edward being caught at a rate at knots he had to concede the lead and nurse the tyres back to a 2nd place. Harry meanwhile was involved in a accident with another driver who tried an over ambitous move and manged to clip Harry's rear end causing a puncture. This ended Harry's race.

Race 2 was a more straight forward call as the track was now dry. Edward straight away got into the lead but unfortunatly ran a bit wide coming out of devils elbow. Harry meanwhile was carving his way through the field overtaking on a track which some claim you can't overtake on. Edward had sat behind the leader pressuring into mistakes and as it looked like he was about to make the move his front bottom ball joint snapped causing him to pull over and watch from the sidelines. But Harry was on hand to make a storming drive back through to 4th nearly grabbing 3rd on the last lap.

Rounds 10-11 Snetterton

This was the boy's second visit to this track this year and both recording good results last time here they were looking to score some good points. They both went hot out the box in qualifying and Edward put it on 2nd with Harry on 3rd in prime posistion for the race.

Race 1 was much a three horse race with David Grady leading and Edward and Harry following. Edward and Harry worked together to catch David when Edward's brakes failed and caused him to go of track coming back on in 4th quite a way behind the leaders. Harry went on to catch David but ran out of laps. Edward managed to claw back third but with bad brake problems had to cruise the car round to the finish.

Race 2 was a very close race for the top 3 with Harry in 2nd and Edward in 3rd for much of the race. Grady managed to gain a bit of a lead but Edward and Harry managed to claw it back lap by lap. Coming onto the last lap Harry was close enough to make a move, biding his time he lined him up for the last lap and a hectic dash to the line. Pulling the move off he managed to keep the lead to the line followed by Grady and very closely by Edward. The top 3 were covered by 0.29 seconds at the line. Harry was then awarded with driver of the day and Edward with fastest lap.

Rounds 8-9 Rockingham

Rockingham was another new track for the boys to learn. What was quite a challenging circuit with fast corners and tight hairpins. They both took to the track very well recording some very fast lap times. The boys can't seem to get qualifying quite right this year and ended up in 6th and 7th.

The heaven's opened and race 1 was declared a wet race. With both Edward and Harry knowing they were very quick in th wet they were looking forward to this race. Edward got a storming starting getting upto third by the first corner with Harry in 6th. Edward was then caught up in a three way battle and unfortunatly gained a puncture, which consequently put him out of the race. Meanwhile Harry stormed through the grid soon getting into third right on the back of Matt Parr who he soon disposed off and set apon the leader but unfortunatly ran out of laps.

Race 2 was much the same for Harry getting into the 2nd and chasing down the leader, once again recording fastest lap but running out of laps again. Edward had a much harder time starting off 19th he soon made his way through passing a car every lap ending up in sixth right on the tail of 4th and 5th but unfortunatly couldn't find a way past.

Round 6-7 Brands Hatch

Harry's car was all built and ready to go for this weekend having tested on the wednesday before hand to shake down the car he was setting some impressive times. Qualifying Harry and Edward struggled on new tyres to find the right amount of grip and consequently could only put it on 6th and 9th.

For race 1 they had both chosen to opt for used tyres on the front to try and sort out their issues and it seemed to work. With Edward getting a good start immeaditly getting up to fourth and staying there to the flag. Harry mean while had his work cut out getting held up at the start made good progress back up to fifth getting awarded driver of the day for his drive.

With a few more changes made to the car's Edward and Harry seemed to be right on the pace Harry getting up to third and Edward in fifth right on the back of the leading pack. A backmarker coming back onto the track caused mayhem with Edward benefitting from it the most jumping straight upto third with Harry following through in fourth. Harry was then unfortunatly taken off the circuit by an over ambitious move which put Harry back to sixth. Edward was stuck in a battle for the lead where he had to eventually settle for third. Harry managed to grab one place back ending up fifth.

Rounds 5-6 Donnington

Harry and Edward were looking forward to driving a track they had never been to. In pre testing they both recorded very fast time's so the expectation was very high. Qualifying however didn't go to plan. With Harry qualifying 6th and Edward 8th both complaining with issues with the car's.

The conditions for the first race were less than ideal with the track being greasy and all bar one of the competitors on complete slicks. As the lights went green Harry got a storming start reaching third by the first corner and eventually got into the lead down the bottom of Craner curve's on lap 2. Edward had a nightmare of a start ending up back in 13th but soon start to carve his way through the field getting up to fifth in a very short space of time. Harry unfortunatly made a mistake and ended up slipping off the track and coming back on in sixth where he made quick progress up to fourth. Unfortunatly lost control of his car coming down through craner curves and ended up colliding with the barriers which put an end to his day. Edward cruised the car to the finish in 4th having seen his brother's crash he decided to calm down and stick with position.

In the second race the track conditions were back to normal. Edward ended up racing a lonely race getting straight into third of the start but wasn't quite quick enough to hang with the leader's. So for Edward it wasn't a bad weekend but for Harry it was disatrous but hopefully they can get a new car built for Brands Hatch.

Rounds 3-4 Snetterton

After having such a good first run out the boys were both looking forward to another good set of results. Having shown their raw pace in the first rounds they were looking to close the gap on leader David Grady. Qualifying went really well with Harry getting 2nd and Edward 3rd only tenth of a second of the pole time.

With Harry lining up 2nd on the dirty side of the track he struggled to get off the line which gave Edward the advantage into the first corner where he manged to keep till the fourth corner where he as overtaken by Jason Cooper only to regain it again at the sixth corner which gave Harry enough room to squezze past Cooper. David Grady now has a two second lead, but both Edward and Harry chipped away at this lead till they were on his bumper. Unfortunatly play was brought to a quick end as the red flag was brought out and denied Harry and Edward a ceartain top step of the podium.

The second race was much the same with all three cars in close proximity, but the safety car came out after only two laps, and was out for over 3/4 of the race distance. The last lap board was shown when racing was finally continued but Edward couldn't find away past and had to settle for second. This mean's the drivers swap posistion in the championship with Edward 2nd and Harry 3rd.

Rounds 1-2 Silverstone

Edward and Harry have been counting down the days till the first round. Having both donw extensive testing the felt they both had the pad to win. Harry's qualifying went to plan putting it 2nd for the first race. Edward couldn't quite get the car to handle as it had been in practice and could only manage 6th.

Both lined up for the first race of the season, Harry got away well holding 2nd into the first corner where he would stay to the flag keeping winner David Grady very honest. Edward had a demon start getting into 4th by the first corner. He hassled the 4th place driver for the first half of the race but was gifted third after Jason Cooper was given a drive-thru penalty for excessive use of the track limits.

The second race was much the same with both drivers finishing in the same order with Edward pushing Harry over the finish line. This leaves the drivers in 2nd and 3rd in the championship which gives them a good start to their 2011 campaign.
